Join Me at My New Site… Management 3.0!

Today I've launched a new site dedicated to my upcoming book, which will be about managing agile organizations…

The site is meant to share and discuss ideas and resources about agile management. Some of those will make it into the book, and others will not. 😉

I will also use the new site to ask for feedback about materials I'm working on, hard choices I have to make for the book, and other mindwrecking problems.

Don't worry! My regular blog NOOP.NL will remain alive and kicking! Some of the blog posts I publish here will make it into the book, and (again) others will not. If you just want to read my regular blog posts, you can simply stay here. But if you want to know more about how the book is evolving, or if you want to discuss management of agile organizations in more detail, then go ahead and join the new site!

Summarizing… I will post draft chapters and work-in-progres at the new site, for registered users only. I will post individual sample paragraphs as blog posts here, for everyone. You choose! 🙂

p.s. In just 18 hours almost 60 people have already joined the site, including great authors like Mike Cohn, Lisa Crispin, Janet Gregory, and Philippe Kruchten. I hope to see you there too!

Jurgen

I may be missing something- but you don’t have a link to the site on this post- right ?
SO I googled it and found it- http://www.management30.com/
    Good luck !!!

Actually, there are two hyperlinks in the post. But thanks for adding a third. You’re right, yours is more clear. 🙂

I like your blog a lot. Therefore, I also joined your new management 3.0 group today.
In my opinion, the name “management 3.0” is not very useful for this discussion. I think that most companies didn’t really understand the “2.0-thing” so far. If we begin to use 3.0 already, it doesn’t make much sense to me.
Nevertheless, I want to point out that my criticism is not about the intention or the contents of “management 3.0”. It’s only the “branding” which I don’t agree with.
    Best regards,
    Stefan

Stefan, thanks for the feedback! I’ve actually chosen the name as a sort of tongue-in-cheek reference to the many “2.0” names out there. But I have yet to explain this, of course. 😉
For now, I just like the name as a working title. It could still change later.
